ABOUT US

The Dubai Mighty Camels are a top amateur ice hockey team based in Dubai, UAE. Founded in 1994 by Canadian and Swedish expats, they compete in the Emirates Ice Hockey League (EIHL). Over the years, they have won 5 championships, with the latest in 2021, making them one of the most successful teams in the league.

Beyond their competitive success, the Camels host the Dubai Mighty Camels Amateur Men’s Ice Hockey League, a 12-team amateur league with over 250 members. They also sponsor beginner-level teams through the Dubai Night Hockey League.

For the past 15 years, the team has thrived under the leadership of Billy Kamleh. His dedication and vision have been instrumental in sustaining the team’s competitive edge while also helping to expand the sport’s popularity throughout the UAE. Billy’s  leadership continues to drive the Mighty Camels’ success both on and off the ice, making them a cornerstone of the Emirates Ice Hockey League.
